Housing Trust Funding Approval for New Affordable Housing

Housing Trust Member Rachel Heller presented the Trust's proposal for Community Preservation Act (CPA) funding at Town Meeting on May 30th, 2024. After a vigorous debate, the requested amount of $275,000 was approved for the purpose of developing and supporting Affordable housing in the Town of Belmont.

We celebrate this as a “win” in the Town’s efforts to encourage a diverse range of housing types by funding consulting support and grants for development.
