Electronic Voting at Town Meeting
In-Person Voting at Town Meeting
Town Meeting now uses an Electronic Voting system utilizing a peripheral called a Response Card. The response cards will be handed out to Town Meeting Members before the start of Town Meeting and they must be returned at the end of the night. Town Meeting members will use the Electronic Voting system at the Moderator's discretion.
Hybrid & Remote Town Meetings
The Town Moderator may suggest to the Select Board to hold a Town Meeting remotely or using a hybrid of remote and in-person, for the safety of the Town Meeting Members. In these cases, the voting system that the Town has adopted (Point Solutions) has created a mobile voting app that can be downloaded onto mobile devices; additionally, Town Meeting members may use the Point Solutions website to vote. Each Town Meeting member will be required to create an account before the start of Town Meeting in order to be given credit for attending and allowing their vote to be counted.
