Through testing in 2024 the MWRA determined that Belmont did not have lead in its tap water. There is currently 1 service line in Belmont that is made of lead. Belmont is actively working with the homeowner to try to replace this line.
In compliance with the Lead and Copper Rule Improvements, the Town of Belmont prepared an inventory of its water service line materials.
